....[*]
This book is more involved with matrices than with Fourier analysis. If it were more Fourier analysis we would choose notation to begin subscripts from zero like this: $B(Z) = b_0 + b_1 Z + b_2 Z^2 + b_3 Z^3$.

An introduction to $Z$-transforms is found in my earlier books, FGDP and ESA-PVI.
